collaborative highly experienced therapist who is conscientious, nonjudgmental and compassionate
nurturing, and empathetic healer
I will take you on a journey to self healing and growth by addressing an approach unique to your individualistic needs.
I believe that every person carries within them a wise, creative, and resilient core of what Internal Family Systems calls the ‘Self.’ My role as a therapist is not to fix or pathologize, but to guide my clients back into relationship with that inner Self through compassion, curiosity, and a reverent respect for the full complexity of their experience.
I work from a deeply integrative, trauma-informed perspective. Drawing from over 25 years of clinical practice, I blend Internal Family Systems (IFS), EMDR, DBT, ACT, Ericksonian Hypnotherapy, and Narrative Therapy with mindfulness, somatic awareness, and soulful, imaginal work. My approach is both structured and intuitive, evidence-based yet existentially grounded.
I honor the individual as a system within system cultural, familial, neurological, spiritual and I pay attention to the subtle and sacred layers of suffering: shame, grief, longing, and disconnection. Whether we are navigating the echoes of trauma, the chaos of anxiety, the ache of heartbreak, or the confusion of transitions, I am committed to walking alongside you with presence, protection, and purpose.
My therapeutic space is one of safety, imagination, and emergence. I offer rituals for unburdening, tools for regulation, invitations into deeper parts work, and space for meaning-making beyond diagnosis. I see therapy not only as healing, but as reclamation or return to wholeness.
As a trauma-informed and integrative psychotherapist, I approach healing as both a personal and political act. I believe our emotional pain cannot be fully understood or healed without acknowledging the systems we live in. Many of the burdens my clients carry are not theirs alone—they are inherited, imposed, and sustained by histories of colonization, racism, sexism, ableism, capitalism, and marginalization.
My therapeutic philosophy is rooted in liberation, compassion, and cultural humility. I strive to create a space where your full identity is seen and honored—where the parts of you shaped by survival, resistance, and brilliance are welcomed, not pathologized. Together, we will explore not only your inner world but also the outer systems that have shaped it, helping you reclaim voice, agency, rest, and joy.
Drawing from Internal Family Systems (IFS), EMDR, somatic practices, and depth psychology, I support clients in healing not just trauma, but disconnection—from the body, from culture, from self, and from ancestral strength. Whether you are grieving, questioning, resisting, or awakening, my role is to walk with you, bearing witness to your pain and your power.
I believe therapy is not just about symptom relief—it’s about coming home to yourself, despite a world that often tells you not to.
When clients ask me what I hope they will feel in our work together, my answer is simple and deeply felt.
I want you to feel safe—not just physically safe, but emotionally, spiritually, and culturally held. I want you to be able to exhale, maybe for the first time in a long time. To know that there is nothing about you that is too much or too little. That every part of you has a place here.
I want you to feel seen. Not reduced to symptoms or diagnoses, but witnessed in your full humanity. I want to understand not only your inner world, but also the systems, family legacies, and identities that have shaped it. Your silence holds wisdom. Your defenses carry the story. Your survival is sacred.
I want you to feel empowered—not in a performative way, but in the deep knowing that you have a Self within you that is wise, resilient, and whole. We will move at the pace of trust. We will honor what hurts, but we will also nurture what heals—through breath, through imagery, through ritual, through language, through laughter and stillness, and through the tender work of listening to the parts of you that have long waited to be heard.
I want you to feel connected—to your body, to your voice, to your values, and to a deeper Self that continues to hold your pain and your potential with compassion. I want you to leave our sessions with more dignity, more clarity, and a sense that you are returning—slowly, gently—to yourself.
Above all, I want you to know: You do not have to carry it alone anymore. I am here to guide your way.
They feel deeply seen, genuinely accepted and empowered to claim their voice. Many have shared that they have never felt so safe to explore their inner world and that our work together helps them connect the dots between past wounds and present healing. They often describe our sessions as collaborative, grounding, emotionally honest and deeply transformative and cathartic.
The core principles that guide my clinical work are compassion, presence and a deep reverence for the healing wisdom of the body and spirit. I honor therapy as a sacred, relational and experiential journey punctuated with evidence based interventions. It invites both insight and embodied transformation. My approach weaves together trauma informed care, spiritual integration and expressive arts including movement, dance, visual art, music and storytelling. I believe healing unfolds when we create space for the inner child and the inner divine, when silence and sound are equally honored and when the body is free to speak what words cannot express and is done so effortlessly. Each session becomes a co-created sanctuary where ancestral knowledge, inner wisdom and the longing for wholeness are tenderly and powerfully restored to the aliveness it deserves.
It would be this, healing is not a linear process and you don’t have to do it with words alone. In our work together, we will listen not just to the mind, but to the body’s wisdom, the heart’s longings and to the soul’s quiet knowing utilizing evidence based and experiential techniques. Therapy with me is both a sanctuary and a laboratory- a sacred space where insight meets intuition, where art, movement and stillness are as welcome as language. The invitation for you is to share and explore your story with curiosity, express your truth through creative channels and experience safety in a new and renewed embodiment of self. I believe in regaining a sense of self and wholeness as hallmarks of a positive and successful therapeutic alliance and experience.
That healing is not about striving to become someone else- it is about remembering who you already are. My own path has taught me to sit with the unknown, to honor the wisdom of the body and to trust in the quiet unfolding of transformation over time. Having walked through grief, cultural complexity, spiritual awakening, and the nonlinear rhythms of healing, I offer not just clinical tools but lived experiences and a down to earth approach to resolving issues effectively and with a great deal of empathy. I know that healing often begins when we take the first step in embracing the light and shedding old beliefs and letting go of patterns that no longer serve us. The path to wholeness is paved with the integration of movement with stillness, art and science, and the most powerful breakthroughs happen when we least expect them and that honoring self and the space we create is paramount to the efficaciousness of our therapeutic alliance.
Time spent with loved ones, nature- mountains and the ocean, photography, hiking, writing and music. The rhythms of the earth remind me to slow down and return to the present moment and participating in environmental causes as well as nature conservancy are some of the passions. I find renewal in silence, nature, in poetry, in the aroma of a warm tea, in creating art and in spiritual and meditative practices that reconnect me to my source and a greater sense of being and purpose. These vital moments of beauty and embodiment of being aligned with nature and self restore my capacity to hold space for others so that I can be my optimal best. It is the simple art of taking care of self and taking time to rejuvenate the spirit that serves as a reminder that healing is not just a profession but a way of being- one that is extraordinary and complete in form and function.
The values that guide every aspect of my practice are integrity, honesty, respect and embodied presence.I hold sacred the responsibility of walking besides the vulnerable and unseen in their most tender and transformative moments. My work is guided by deep respect for each individual’s autonomy, inherent wisdom and cultural story with a belief that requires not just safety but strength and resilience. To me, creativity, attunement and relational authenticity are central to how I show up.I value silence as much as expression, intuition as much as science, and I strive to create a space where truth can be spoken, felt, moved and witnessed- with compassion, empathy, courage, connection, curiosity, clarity, kindness and non-judgementally.
The breakthrough moments I am most passionate about facilitating are those in which clients begin to internalize self compassion, experience increased integration of fragmented parts and shift from reactivity to regulation. I am especially drawn to moments when a client recognizes their capacity for choice, reconnects with a sense of agency, or accesses emotions that had previously been inaccessible due to trauma, shame, guilt or dissociation. Whether it is somatic release, trauma focused interventions, insights using integrative modalities, a moment of creative expression, insight or breakthrough- these are the moments despite the road we take to get to them where healing is personified and long lasting change begins and persists throughout time.
How I adapt my approach to meet your needs and ensure you are making progress is by listening deeply- not just your words but to the underlying emotional currents, needs and nervous system responses that emerge throughout our work. I regularly check in with you to assess how certain approaches are landing and I welcome feedback as an essential part of the process. Whether we are utilizing talk therapy, family systems, trauma focused care or the integrative multiple training modalities that I am certified in, I adapt session structure and pacing to meet where you are- moment to moment, mindfully and compassionately. My intention is to offer a responsive, collaborative space where we are continuously aligning with what supports your growth, success, resilience and sense of emotional safety as well as wholeness.
As a clinician, the therapeutic process is only meaningful and complete through the reciprocity and engagement of those I work with. Each individual is unique, and their stories are interwoven with a rich tapestry of diverse emotions. By balancing the abstract, creative, philosophical, and introspective aspects of life with friendliness, compassion, empathy, and care, I walk the path with you on your journey toward peace and happiness.
In the therapy room, I look at every part of you and your story, and I invite you into the process as we move forward together. My toolbox is full of both evidence-based and practice-based interventions. I am trained in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), gestalt, solution-focused, narrative, drama, art therapy, EMDR, and mindfulness-based approaches.
The humans I work with continually amaze me with their strength and resilience. Lasting change is possible for anyone who is open and receptive to it. I look forward to supporting you as you embark on this journey toward hope and healing.
