bringing realness into the room — no performance, no masks, just honest human connection.

I’m at my best working with clients who have felt unseen, misunderstood, or pushed to the margins. Whether you’re unpacking identity, dealing with depression or anxiety, navigating grief, or wrestling with old narratives that no longer serve you, I’m here to help you reauthor your story with care, courage, and radical acceptance.

Clients often describe me as warm, real, and nonjudgmental — someone who brings full humanity into the room and helps them feel safe without needing to perform or explain themselves. My style is collaborative and authentic: I believe therapy works best when we’re co-creating something honest, not when one person has all the answers.

I integrate Narrative Therapy, DBT skills, CBT, and Person-Centered Therapy, alongside a strong foundation in liberation-based, trauma-informed, and queer-affirming frameworks. My work is deeply influenced by anti-oppressive practices, fat liberation, and a commitment to creating healing space for those often left out of traditional therapy rooms.

  • building a relationship rooted in trust and realness, where they feel safe enough to explore what hurts and strong enough to imagine what’s next.

  • My style integrates narrative, relational, and person-centered approaches. I bring a nonjudgmental, affirming presence into the room and work alongside clients to unpack internalized narratives, explore identity, and foster meaningful change — without pressure to fake progress or hide your struggle.

  • My approach to therapy is grounded in narrative therapy, which means I believe that people are not defined by their problems. Instead, I work with clients to explore the stories they’ve been told—or have come to believe—about themselves, and together we begin to identify new, more empowering narratives.

I create a collaborative, supportive space where clients feel safe to express themselves without judgment.

I use externalizing techniques to help clients separate themselves from issues like anxiety, depression, or trauma, and I work to highlight their strengths, values, and resilience.

My approach is also trauma-informed and client-centered, meaning I meet clients where they are, honor their pace, and integrate psychoeducation and coping strategies when helpful.

Ultimately, I view therapy as a space for healing, reflection, and transformation—where clients can reclaim their voice and reshape their story.

  • Clients can expect a therapy space that is collaborative, nonjudgmental, and grounded in respect. From the beginning, I focus on building a strong therapeutic relationship where you feel safe to speak freely and be met with curiosity—not criticism.

Our work will involve exploring the stories and patterns that shape how you see yourself, your relationships, and your challenges. I use a narrative therapy lens, which means I will help you separate your identity from the problems you’re facing and uncover the values, strengths, and resilience that already exist within you.

    You can expect:

    • A space to process emotions, experiences, and trauma at your pace
    • Support in identifying and challenging limiting beliefs or harmful self-narratives
    • Tools to cope more effectively with stress, anxiety, depression, or life transitions
    • An emphasis on re-authoring your story in a way that aligns with your values and goals
    • Honest feedback, thoughtful questions, and a consistent focus on your growth.
  • I help clients create change by exploring the stories they tell themselves—and have been told—about who they are and what they’re capable of. Through a narrative therapy approach, we identify the patterns, beliefs, and experiences that may be keeping them stuck, and we begin the process of rewriting those narratives in a way that reflects their values, strengths, and hopes. Change doesn’t come from forcing solutions—it comes from curiosity, clarity, and connection. I help clients build awareness, challenge internalized messages, and make space for new ways of thinking, feeling, and relating. Along the way, we integrate practical tools, self-compassion, and concrete steps that support meaningful growth—whether it’s managing anxiety, navigating grief, building boundaries, or moving through major life transitions. My role is to walk alongside you—not as someone with all the answers, but as someone who believes in your capacity to find them.

  • warm, compassionate, and easy to talk to. Many have shared that they feel genuinely seen and understood in our sessions, even when exploring difficult or painful topics.

  • heard, respected, and supported — no matter what you bring into the room. My goal is to create a space where you can show up fully as yourself.

  • neurodivergent, LGBTQIA+, highly sensitive, or survivors of trauma. Many are navigating identity, relationships, and deep questions about who they are and how they want to live.

  • being able to name your needs, set boundaries, and trust your inner voice, even when it’s hard.

  • my lived experience as a non-binary, neurodivergent person, a former high school dropout, and a parent. These parts of me help me hold deep empathy for folks who’ve been underestimated, marginalized, or told they’re “too much” — and they remind me that growth doesn’t follow a straight line.

  • I know what it feels like to be cast aside — to be told you won’t succeed, to not fit into the boxes the world offers. As a trans person, a former dropout, and someone who’s seen how cruel the world can be, I chose to become the kind of person I needed back then. I have a genuine drive to hold space for people to feel seen and be their most authentic selves.

  • people finding their voice, often for the first time. I see clients move from feeling isolated or invisible to realizing they’re worthy of support, that their needs matter, and that they don’t have to go it alone.

  • when your goals evolve — when you’re no longer just trying to get by, but starting to imagine what it means to really live. That shift in perspective is a powerful marker of growth.

  • a space of authenticity, curiosity, and support that is deeply human. It’s not a place that pretends things aren’t messy or painful — it welcomes the raw, the real, and the honest. I aim to create a relationship where you feel seen, valued, and reminded that you don’t have to go through it alone.

  • you’ll find me spending time with my spouse and two kids. I love running, hiking, backpacking, gardening, and curling up with a good book.

  • I am a certified assistant SCUBA instructor.

  • I’m passionate about understanding how our bodies and minds are in constant dialogue — especially through the lens of psychoneuroendocrinology. I’m currently developing PhD-level research proposals to explore the hormonal underpinnings of mental health, with the hope of improving both clinical practice and access to informed, affirming care for those navigating hormone-related shifts.
