I commend you for being present with the state of your soul and honor your process to love your sensitivity more.
the already-existing wholeness and and support a felt-sense of reconnection, truth, value and integration
realizations about what is missing within you and how to secure a sense of belonging in your body, in this world, and with your source of truth
the all-encompassing emotional pieces of change and healing.
My personality is described as high-energy-yet-introverted. Much of my time is spent in nature which supports my practices of mindfulness and self-care. Growing food and mushrooms, raising dogs, being married, and committing daily to presence all influence my pleasure and nourishment sources. Being child-free allows a different way to see and be in the world—this choice centers distinct ways of giving life, unique freedom, spaciousness, and time dedicated to my outlying senses of purpose.
As someone who experiences gender in a femme-presenting-yet-non-conforming way, the complexities of gender (or really, any identifying feature of having a body and a personality) are meaningful to me. I love to be present for people who are coming into a greater acceptance of themselves and their self-esteem. The therapeutic process we share is inclusive of getting healthy emotional needs met–maybe for the first time ever.
I am driven by depth and want to offer you an experience of being wholly seen and attended to.
My approach is intuitive, respectful, compassionate, improvisational, accepting, patient and ignited by who you are now and who you are becoming.
Transpersonal tools continue to be instrumental to my sense of self and wellness, many of which I cultivated during my five years living in Asia, and on trips to the Peruvian jungle—realizations, recovery and practices that were learned during these times continue daily on my meditation cushion. Merging yoga with astrology and adventure gives me context for recovery and a chance to practice reframing my perspectives on boundaries, truth, safety and presence.
I’m also vegan, but not annoying about it.
Committing to wellness and sensitivity-related acceptance may be the hardest decisions you have ever made, and it may continue to be difficult as you reassert your desires and intentions to live well. I offer you support, tools and compassion amid all the gradations of change and choice. Your therapeutic process may include senses of heightened awareness, altered states of consciousness, sadness, uncertainty, frustration and a lack of articulate expression. It may also include catharsis, hope, restoration and health. There is space for all of your emotions/experiences within the scope of my practice.
The nature of this therapy is co-creative, confrontational, and compassionately dynamic. It relies upon mutual trust, consent, confidentiality, integrity and participation. This time together is not one based on my giving you a formula for how to answer the call of your life—rather, during our sessions we have the opportunity to feel into what is true for you in the here and now. And we proceed from that space–whether that means being with what is or befriending change.
Reflective questions help us to both stay with and confront your current perspective. Reality checks are imperative in this work. Your self-discovery regarding a sense of aliveness and truth, any grief process you may be facing, any longing for expansion are all materials with which we work. I commend you for being present with the state of your soul and honor your process to love your expressions more.
I use astrology, compassionate inquiry, AEDP, mindfulness, and boundary-affirming somatic exercises to support what it is you want to claim for your mental and emotional wellness.
These tools may lead to realizations about what is missing within you and how to secure a sense and a life of belonging in your body, in this world, and with your source of truth. During sessions, we will circle back to your intentions for change, healing, and way of being. This may involve mindfulness, deep listening, and meditative practices. Any strategy used is consent-and-curiosity-based; I’m here to be of service to your inner growth, communication skills development, and capacity to emotionally regulate.
Clients who do well with my approach are open-minded and flexible, and who come prepared with precise intentions for each meeting. Others who do well are driven by the possibility of change, and are those who consent to the trust-building process that comes with a therapeutic dynamic. Black-and-white thinkers, those who act with impulsivity, or those who aren’t interested in cultivating resilience or autonomy would best be served by another practitioner.
Clients who do well with my approach are open-minded and flexible, and who come prepared with precise intentions for each meeting. Those who are willing to be present to our process as well as their innovative or unique sensitivities and attunements are especially welcome! Others who do well are driven by the possibility of change, curious about consistency, and who are willing to confront outdated strategies. Black-and-white thinkers, those who act with impulsivity, or those who aren’t interested in cultivating resilience or autonomy would best be served by another practitioner.
Creatives, philomaths, introverts or ambi-verts, healers, highly sensitive, Uranophiles, bibliophiles, nerds, zany, ready, wanting recovery from chaos, overgiving, and overly self-critical! My clients often find themselves outside of conventional paths and are seeking a space where their complexity is not just welcomed but cherished.
This client may be:
Questioning inherited systems—of belief, productivity, family, or embodiment.
Yearning for emotional attunement—perhaps for the first time, craving a space where they can be safely seen in their entirety.
Drawn to nature, ritual, or spiritual practices—whether or not they have words for it, they feel the call of something greater and seek grounding through mindfulness, embodiment, or transpersonal exploration.
Creative or unconventional—they may be artists, healers, thinkers, or simply deeply feeling people who don’t quite fit the mold and are learning to love that about themselves.
Living child-free by choice, queer, or simply different—and seeking a therapist who gets it, who understands freedom as sacred and presence as practice.
Communication issues, break-ups (platonic and romantic), relocation stress and grief, death and dying, dream and nightmare processing, present-moment awareness, relationality, psychedelic integration
These individuals have a remarkably attuned nervous system that allows them to experience the world in deeply meaningful (and sometimes heightened) ways. This is not a defect or something to subject to judgement–it’s a profound strength that cultivates empathy, creativity, and depth of perception. HSPs tend to notice subtleties that others might overlook—be it a shift in tone, a subtle facial expression, or the emotional undercurrent of a room. This makes them deeply intuitive souls. They may feel things more intensely, but this intensity brings with it a rich inner world, a deep capacity for compassion, and a strong sense of integrity. They are often drawn to environments and relationships that honor authenticity, kindness, and purpose. I love working with this demographic as they gain more self-understanding, self-assurance, assertiveness and ownership of their unique ways of experiencing life.
Communication and expression are how we share our thoughts/emotions/experiences and build understanding and trust between ourselves and others. Whether we’re comforting a friend, working through a disagreement, or collaborating with a team, salient and authentic communication helps us to securely trust, reduce misunderstandings, and create spaces where we feel seen, heard, and known.
Sky wisdom has awakened compassion in me like little else. Understanding the archetypes and the ways they relate to each other, to humanity, and to my soul delivers all of comfort, regulation, connectedness, aliveness, senses of purpose, and creativity. Astrology is one way of involving the intrapersonal with the transpersonal while also providing support for daily life. To make the mystical empirical is a crucial part to maintaining wellness and astrology holds many insights for all of soul-psychology, meaning-making, self-realization, and truth-revering.My stellium in Scorpio, my Piscean influences, and Gemini ascendency invigorate my almost-decade-long companionship with astrology and the way I communicate about this divination-turned-therapeutic-process
Nope! My values hold immense importance but I do not expect or need you to share them.
Having space is a love language! Such fluency for me includes living with the unknown, a sense of independence, and learning to be with all of discomfort, adrenaline, preparation, inclusion, and freedom.
I do love word-play and verbal engagement… and I also love the depth and intimacy silence can hold. I have daily practices involving silence, deeper listening, mindfulness, and reattuning the nervous system. These enhance my overall existence and how I access truth.
My calling is to share space that is soulful, compassionate, celebratory, and life-affirming. Although aspects of therapy (and therefore the self) may be painful or challenging, I am here to greet the already-existing wholeness and and support a felt-sense of reconnection, truth, value and integration. As a deeply anti-authoritarian being, I cherish the balancing of respect, shared wisdom, insight, vulnerability, and transformation during (and after!) therapy. A mutual goal to reduce suffering is often included into our therapeutic process.
Ooooo, absolutely! My curiosity is drawn to exploring impermanence, the unfamiliar, the edgy–all of which may feel daunting–admittedly, this is part of the allure I find within these spaces. Healing death-related fears means healing stubbornness, impatience, grief, and entitlement. Holding space for my father’s dying process was pivotal in my evolution; part of my continued integration of that experience is to acquire more harmony with all that is unknown.
Life-affirmingness is such a crucial component to remaining well! Yoga, hiking, dance, HIIT, SUP and surfing are all enlivening parts of my life. I also love creating life in our garden and giving our dogs an ever-growing host of nicknames. Learning how to sing and my lifelong practice of poetry writing are also heartening.
