  • I strongly believe that experiencing safety, care, and security in relationships in our lives is the core factor for creating lasting change and healing in a person’s life! Therapy is all about experiencing a safe, judgement-free space in which you can share anything within your heart and mind and feel truly heard. It would be my deep honor to journey alongside you and provide you with compassion and encouragement on your healing journey.

It deeply matters to me to honor your specific needs and preferences in therapy and go at a pace that feels safe and comfortable to you. In our work together I deeply value providing a safe, compassionate, and caring environment that is nourishing for your healing and growth. I greatly look forward to hearing your story, getting to know your authentic self, learning about your interests, and exploring what matters most to you in your life.

  • I work from the framework that you are the expert of your own life experience and have inherent wisdom and healing capacity that will guide our work together and empower you on your healing journey. Keeping your specific needs and preferences in mind I bring an integrative and holistic approach to therapy. You can expect in our work together a tailored blend of evidenced based and trauma-informed approaches that fit your expressed needs, preferences, and goals.

I also work from an Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) Framework of care which is a therapy approach that helps people explore what is most important to them in their life, develop a healthy relationship with their thoughts and feelings, build resilience, become more present, and navigate around obstacles on the path to their goals and engage in what matters most to them in their life.

  • The wonderful world of neurodiversity and the amazing people and stories that are part of the neurodivergent community. I am a neurodivergent-affirming therapist and I experience immense joy working with neurodivergent and autistic young adults and adults. I have worked with this population for over 5 years as a therapist and direct support provider. It would be my deep honor to travel alongside you on your journey of self-discovery, healing, and living a life that is meaningful to you.

I personally identify as neuro-typical and provide therapy tailored to each neurodivergent client’s personality and specific needs. I recognize that there is so much to learn from each person I serve and I also engage yearly in training and studying contemporary research in neurodivergent care. I celebrate and respect the differences we all have with our personality, style of communicating, and ways we interact with our world.

I have learned from my experience as a direct support provider working in client’s home and community environments what the daily life experiences, joys, and challenges can look like for neurodivergent people. I greatly enjoy collaborating with clients, their families, and care team to help clients achieve their goals and live a life that is fulfilling to them.

I deeply value being an advocate for my clients and working for greater inclusion and equity in therapeutic care and broader society for neurodivergent people. I have extensive experience supporting clients in life coaching, providing emotional support, celebrating their life passions and interests, developing life skills, and connecting in community. It is essential to me to provide a safe space that is compassionate, affirming, and judgement-free so that you can feel safe to be your authentic self in our work together.

  • When I was a senior in high school and was considering a future career I recognized that I deeply value compassionate service and helping people that are navigating challenges in their lives. I was inspired at a young age by my parents who both worked in community health and education and witnessed their heart for service. I also was greatly inspired to become a therapist from my own experiences in therapy and having caring therapists that supported me in my own healing journey. In college I embarked on my educational journey to become a counselor because I wanted to make a positive difference in people’s lives and I also wanted to work in a field that was meaningful to me. I am so grateful that I chose this path and am thrilled to continue supporting clients in their journeys of self-discovery.

It deeply matters to me to create a compassionate and safe space that is tailored to your needs and preferences and that we move at a pace that is most comfortable for you.
